Description
DISNEY CERTIFICATION "Beautiful Night" Canine sweethearts. An accordian serenade. A steaming plate of spaghetti. These are the memorable ingredients of one of the most beloved scenes in cinema history. Now, Walt Disney Art Classics has captured Lady and Tramp's romantic interlude in a collection of one-of-a-kind, hand-inked, hand-painted cels that have been produced in the same way as the original film. Three hundred animation setups from sequence 7, scenes 70.1 and 76 have been carefully chosen, with original drawings, used as the source for each cel in this spectacular collection. As a result, every cel in this collection is actually a recreation of its own individual frame of film, in effect "reanimating" the sequence. The Walt Disney Studios has created these cels using traditional techniques. The original animation drawings, created in the 1950s during the production of the film , were retrieved from the Animation Research Library to create the new cels. Each drawing was hand inked onto the newcels with up to 18 colors by artists of The Walt Disney Studios INk & Paint Department. The artists then hand-painted each of the cels in collection with up to 22 Disney approved acrylic colors and 1 special effects color. The background artwork accompanying this cel has been created by a Disney artist and is not an original production background. Eclipse Workshop has printed this artwork onto premium-quality, acid-free paper using the fine-art process of giclee. The 300 peices in this collection are individually numbered 1/1 with the discrete drawing and sequence and scene numbers called out. The particular Disney inker and painter whoworked on each individual cel has also added his or her initials on the cell. The professionally framed and matted piece measures 26 X 22 X 3 The actual production cel measures 16 X 11 This cel is 1/1 SEQ. 7, SC.76 DRW #178 1/2, 161 1/2 Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool.
